The Japan Hub promotes the engagement of the Politecnico community interested in developing activities and collaborations with Japan.
To this end, the Japan Hub Community has been established a broader network of faculty members and researchers who, beyond the Academic Board, already collaborate or intend to collaborate with Japan. The Community provides a space for updates, exchange, and active participation in the initiatives and opportunities promoted by the Japan Hub.
Services for Community members:
- Promotion of activities in collaboration with Japan through the Japan Hub’s communication channels
- Support in establishing institutional contacts with Japanese universities, research centers, and other relevant organizations
- Support in organizing events and activities in collaboration with Japanese partners
- Coordination of the institutional hosting of Japanese delegations and guests
- Sharing of funding and collaboration opportunities (e.g. international competitive calls, Japanese programs, visiting opportunities)
- Updates on initiatives promoted by the Japan Hub
Community members’ contribution to the Japan Hub:
- Interaction with board members of their department to assess joint actions, taking a proactive role within the department by disseminating ongoing initiatives and acting as a point of contact for potential initiatives or connections not yet known to the Japan Hub that could be valuable
- Development of events in collaboration with Japan
- Contribution to the catalogue of research topics with Japan
