1. Reimbursement Amount

Students enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree Program

The partial reimbursement of travel tickets is calculated based on a percentage that varies according to the student's ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) as of January 31st, 2026.

Taking into account the maximum expense amount considered by Politecnico for the reimbursement calculation:

  • €208 for students with an ISEE up to €50.500
  • €258 for students with an ISEE over €50.500

The reimbursement percentage is applied:

  1. to the amount shown on the purchase receipt if that amount is less than €208/€258;
  2. to the maximum amount considered by Politecnico (as indicated above) if the amount exceeds €208/€258.

If both travel ticket and bike-sharing subscription reimbursement are requested, the percentage will be applied to the total of the two values, within the maximum limit indicated above.

For the calculation methods of the reimbursable amount for transport passes, the University will refer to the tables available here.

PhD Students

The maximum fixed reimbursable amount is €125.

Public Transport Bonus (TPL) – 2025

Students are required to fill out a self-declaration in the dedicated online procedure by selecting one of the following three options related to the Public Transport Bonus (TPL) – 2025, promoted by the Piedmont Region to encourage public transport use and reduce emissions:

  • I used the TPL 2025 Bonus at the time of purchasing my subscription (discount applied)
  • I did not use the “Public Transport Bonus (TPL) – 2025” at the time of purchase and am not eligible for it, as I do not meet the regional requirements
  • I did not use the “Public Transport Bonus (TPL) – 2025” at the time of purchase, but I am eligible for the regional contribution

The University will verify the truthfulness of the self-declarations made, pursuant to Articles 46 and 47 of Presidential Decree no. 445 of December 28, 2000, “Consolidated Act on administrative documentation”, in collaboration with the Piedmont Region.
For those who received the TPL Bonus, the reimbursable amount from the Polytechnic of Turin will be reduced by the bonus amount received.

For more information on the TPL Bonus 2025, please consult the Piedmont Region website.
