Politecnico di Torino supports university sports as an powerful tool for education, research, and innovation, as well as for enhancing student’s well-being and the overall university experience. Among the objectives are:
- Supporting the students who are engaged in sports, to help them balance academic commitments with high-level athletic pursuits
- Integrating sports into the university experience as a driving force of social interaction, community building, sense of belonging, and healthy, sustainable lifestyles
- Promoting sports as a means for social inclusion and integration, fostering positive change in overcoming ideological and cultural barriers related to gender and nationality
- Strengthening the role of sports in scientific research
To carry out sports activities, Politecnico di Torino collaborates with CUS Torino and other organizations such as Polincontri.
Box Sport
This is the dedicated space if you want to keep updated with all sports initiatives at the Politecnico di Torino. The office is open from Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and it provides information about:
- Sports activities promoted by the Politecnico
- Dual Career program and scholarships for sporting merit
- The Sports Teams project
- Joint initiatives between PoliTO and CUS
- The CUS Card, which grants access to dedicated services (CUS field rentals, Free Sport initiatives, etc.)
- Major university sports events: Rowing Regatta, National University Championships, PoliTO Sports Day
