The Special Needs Counselling Service is a specialised tutoring service run by a professional educator for the students who are supported by the Special Needs Unit.
Students can ask for advice on:
- how to organize their individual study
- how to handle difficulties with notes and study materials
- how to manage and resolve conflicts while working in group
- how to communicate with professors (interviews/ mails)
The service is reserved for the students who are officially supported by the Special Needs Unit.
The Counselling Service is located in the office of the Special Needs Unit (C.so Duca degli Abruzzi 24, ground floor, between room n. 15 and the infirmary, https://www.polito.it/ateneo/chi-siamo/sedi-e-mappe?bl_id=TO_CEN01&fl_id=XPTE&rm_id=E029&lang=it)
To access the service book an appointment through the Polito reservation tool (Special Needs, special needs counseling service).
If you are unable to come to the university in person, you can request an online appointment.
In this case, book your appointment though the reservation tool and then send a ticket to the Special Needs Unit specifying that you need an online counselling session. The Special Needs Unit will send you the Virtual Classroom link to join the session.
