Join SONOCO's Tech Talk and learn about the energy efficiency and sustainability project at the Ciriè paper mill!
The project involves increasing the treatment capacity of biogas produced by anaerobic reactors at the water treatment plant in order to use it as fuel for boiler feed. The biogas is a fraction of the fuel in feed, mixed in the burner with methane gas in order to produce steam to serve the paper drying process: this leads to a reduction in the use of fossil fuels and is a perfect example of circularity in industry.
Internship and/or job opportunities offered by the company will also be presented during the event.
