The new Counseling Service provides a counselling space for students who have been taken in charge by the Special Needs Unit, offering a specialised tutoring service run by a professional educator and pedagogist.
Students can ask for advice on:
- General study organisation
- Difficulties in managing notes and study materials
- Managing and resolving conflicts in a group work
- Managing interviews/emails and general communication with professors
The service is reserved for the students taken in charge by the Special Needs Unit.
The Counselling Service is located in the office of the Special Needs Unit (C.so Duca degli Abruzzi 24, ground floor, between room n. 15 and the infirmary, https://www.polito.it/ateneo/chi-siamo/sedi-e-mappe?bl_id=TO_CEN01&fl_id=XPTE&rm_id=E029&lang=it)
In order to access it, you must book an appointment through the University's reservation tool (Special Needs, special needs counseling service).
If you are unable to come to the university in person, you can request an appointment online.
In this case, after having made the booking by the reservation tool, a ticket must be sent to the Special Needs Unit specifying the need to access the desk via virtual classroom, in order ti have the link to be used.
