PLIDA at Politecnico

The following information is applicable for the first Semester of a.y. 2025/26:

Politecnico di Torino organises exam sessions for PLIDA (Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri)  for the CEFR levels A2 and B1 for its students. 

12 November 2025 - PLIDA A2 and PLIDA B1: session with a limited number of seats that can run out BEFORE the registration deadline. Regularly check the registration procedure - new places may become available if other students ask for the cancellation (ticket to CLA) of their registration for PLIDA. Tickets to ask for cancellation must be sent  before the registration deadline.

PLIDA A2, PLIDA B1 12 November 2025: registration window, test dates, how you will be informed about the exam, results arrival date.

Before registering for PLIDA through your PoliTo Languages page, you are required to create your account on the PLIDA website https://plida.dante.global/it/news/il-certificato-plida-diventa-digitale (button Clicca qui under the title of the page) with your PoliTo e-mail snnnnnn@studenti.polito.it.

 

In order to register for PLIDA, you have to:

  1. create your account on the PLIDA website https://plida.dante.global/it/news/il-certificato-plida-diventa-digitale (button Clicca qui under the title of the page) with your PoliTo e-mail snnnnnn@studenti.polito.it;
  2. register for the PLIDA exam only through your PoliTo page - Lingue/Languages Tab when the specific registration link becomes available.

In lack of one of the steps described above, you will not be able to take the PLIDA.

Please check the PLIDA session calendar on top of this page to learn about the time frame for registration for each PLIDA exam session.

The PLIDA exam is composed of 4 separate tests (see “What is the PLIDA exam format?”). The first time you register for the PLIDA exam, you must register for the full exam  and take all 4 tests.
You will be able to register for make-up tests within 18 months of your first PLIDA registration.
After 18 months, you will have to register again for the full exam.
 

Before registering for the PLIDA through your PoliTo page, you have to create your account on the PLIDA website: https://plida.dante.global/it/news/il-certificato-plida-diventa-digitale (button Clicca qui under the title of the page) with your PoliTo e-mail snnnnnn@studenti.polito.it.

Your registration for PLIDA is not completed if:

- you have not created your account on the PLIDA website

- you do not see the message of successful registration on your PoliTo page - Lingue/Languages tab.

If you have to pay for your PLIDA exam registration, after payment do not close your browser and do not click on any button until the message of successful registration is displayed on your PoliTo page - Lingue/Languages tab by the PLIDA registration application.

If you are ABSENT from one or more of the PLIDA tests (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking) or from the PLIDA full exam, send a medical certificate to esamiplida.torino@dante.global stating that you are unable to attend the PLIDA exam or one or more PLIDA single tests. The e-mail must be sent within 5 working days of the date of the written tests or of the date of the single test(s) you have been absent from. The examination Board will evaluate your documentation.


If your absence from PLIDA is not justifed:
you will be charged the cost of your PLIDA registration fee
or
- you will not be reimbursed the PLIDA registration fee

Your PLIDA results will be available on the page https://certificazioneplida.dante.global/ as of the date indicated in the Calendar for each PLIDA exam session.

Open a ticket for the CLA to ask for the CANCELLATION of your registration for PLIDA.

The ticket must be opened BEFORE the PLIDA registration deadline.
