Open Factory PIRELLI - Settimo Torinese
With Open Factory Pirelli, Polo Tecnologico of Settimo Torinese invites students from the Politecnico di Torino to learn about the industrial reality of Pirelli Settimo Torinese!
Pirelli's presence in Settimo Torinese dates back to the early 1950s. Today the site constitutes the Pirelli Group's most technologically advanced and efficient plant in the world. It represents excellence in the world of Industry 4.0, the new paradigm of industrial production based on the most complete digitization and efficiency in terms of product innovation, production processes, and attention to sustainability and quality of the working environment.

Pirelli was founded in Milan, Italy in 1872 and today is a brand known globally for its cutting-edge technology, top-notch manufacturing excellence and passion for innovation that draws heavily from its Italian roots. With 18 manufacturing plants in 12 countries and a commercial presence in more than 160, Pirelli employs about 31,300 people and in 2022 reported sales of about 6.6 billion euros.
