Coro PoliEtnico - Recruitment

Do you like music? Do you like singing? Would you like to learn new ethnical music from different cultures?
If the answer is yes, well, then you should join Student Team PoliEtnico.

PoliEtnico, the Choir of Politecnico di Torino is a project founded in 2014 thanks to some students and professors of the Department of Mathematical Sciences “Giuseppe Luigi Lagrange” (DISMA) and is composed of students, researchers, professors, and administrative staff. Starting from 2024, PoliEtnico collaborates with the Turin Conservatory, which guides the choristers for a higher quality of musical performance, thanks to the new artistic direction of the conductors.

The name PoliEtnico is inspired by the internationality of its members and the multiethnicity of the repertoire.
PoliEtnico also means sociability since it gathers different cultures, and it is surprising to see how the diversity of each member allow the choir to follow a common objective: the music.
PoliEtnico is also projectuality, because it supports important events that promotes not only culture, but also science and respect.

Over the years, the choir had the opportunity to get in touch and strengthen friendship with choirs from prestigious Italian and international universities, including Eindhoven University (the Netherlands) and the universities of Bologna, Reggio Emilia, Parma, Trento, Trieste, and La Sapienza University of Rome. Thanks to these relationships we had the chance to perform many concerts and have a vast musical exchange.

Drop an email to coro@polito.it to fix a meeting for an audition (don’t worry, it is just to know if you are a soprano, alto, tenor or a bass!).
