WEEE Collection is back!
WEEE Collection is back!
The WEEE Open Team, in collaboration with EcòPoli Team and the Polytechnic Green Team, is organizing a WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment AKA e-waste) collection booth.
Come visit the booth near Classroom 2 during the following hours:
- May 6 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM
- May 7 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- May 8 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM
All the equipment that falls into this category will be collected and it will be delivered to a recycling center.
You can bring: mice, keyboards, modems, computers, radios, calculators, cell phones, cameras, camcorders, game consoles, cables and chargers, toasters, blenders, alarm clocks, watches, irons, hair dryers and hair straighteners, used batteries...
In addition, the Teams look forward to seeing you on May 6 at 2:00 p.m. in the hallway of the even-numbered classrooms to unveil the new recycling stations equipped with NANDO sensors, an artificial intelligence system that monitors the quality of recycling and guides users in disposing of waste properly.
