The Coro PoliEtnico Team celebrates the history of European freedom
A special musical event to Celebrate two key anniversaries in the history of European freedom: 80 years since the Italian Liberation and 50 years since the Carnation Revolution in Portugal. Two distinct historical moments, united by a common ideal: the pursuit of freedom and democracy.
The concert will be a true anthem to the unity of people, to shared memories, and to the power of music as a bridge between cultures and generations.
An opportunity to reflect – and to be moved – through the voices and melodies of those who still believe in the beauty of freedom.
On the stage of the Arpino Auditorium in Bra, three choirs, three cultures, and three stories will come together as one voice:
Camerata Vocal de Torres Vedras, a prestigious Portuguese choir founded in 1982 and conducted by Maestro António Gonçalves. With around 40 singers, the Camerata explores a rich and diverse repertoire, ranging from jazz to traditional Portuguese music to Gregorian chant. It has represented Portugal in numerous international festivals, earning significant recognition.
Il Sedicetto of the Coro PoliEtnico, Politecnico di Torino – a refined vocal ensemble born within the larger CoroPoliEtnico Team. This chamber group focuses on a more musically complex repertoire, under the direction of Maestros Matteo Gentile and Andrea Buonavitacola.
Ij Cantor dla Meidia from Barge, a choir from the Piedmont region that passionately preserves and promotes local choral traditions, deeply rooted in the territory.
Free admission.
