Join Team DRAFT!
DRAFT is a students Team that develops autonomous drones: drones that can fly without the need for a human pilot! The Team takes care of phase, from hardware design and assembly to software development.
In DRAFT, there are two main divisions, which constantly collaborate to achieve the best results:
- Hardware Division: Robotic Systems Engineering (RSE), for people who are passionate about electronics, soldering, CAD, and 3D printing;
- Software Division: Obstacle Avoidance and Motion Planning (OAMP), Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM), and Deep Learning and Computer Vision (DLCV), for people who don’t mind sleepless nights spent coding.

If you are a creative person, there's something for you too: alongside the technical divisions, we indeed have the Administrative, Social, and Outreach (ASO) squad, which takes care of event organization, social media management, and team promotion.
We are always looking for:
- Graphic Designer: come and help us create posters, flyers, and graphics for our social media profiles.
- Photographer and Videomaker: do you feel a bit like a director?
- Web Developer: do you have a talent for innovative web design and a keen eye for detail?
- Social Media Manager: do you think you can communicate your ideas effectively and promote our activities?
If you see yourself in one of these descriptions, you are not afraid to challenge yourself and you're looking for a new and stimulating experience beyond university lectures, then you’re in the right place!

In the week following the form’s closing, you will receive an email at the address you provided in the form in the case you have been selected for the next stage of the recruitment process, which consists of an in-person interview.
If you’d like to get to know DRAFT better, you can find the Team in Room 11S on Tuesday, March 10th at 7:15 PM.
After a short presentation where, the Team will explain the details of the activities, you will have the chance to meet and talk to the members and take a look at some of the drone prototypes.
