Team OSIRIS - Recruitment

OSIRIS is a Student Team in collaboration with PoliSpace from Politecnico di Milano.

The Team offers you the opportunity to work on the creation of a cutting-edge mission for Active Debris Removal (ADR) and its potential reuse on the Moon, actively contributing to the creation of a circular economy in space.

In the Team, you will have the chance to discover the world of space mission design in a multidisciplinary and inter-university environment.

OSIRIS is opening the following positions for Bachelor’s and Master’s students:

• Mechanical & Mechatronics: Design and construction of space debris capture system prototypes
• Space Economy: Feasibility study, cost management, and mission risk analysis
• Computer Science: Website management and development
• Design: Logo creation, website support, and merchandise design
• Materials: Study of materials present in space debris, and recycling possibilities/methods for space applications
• Environmental: Analysis of the effects of space debris de-orbiting on the Earth's atmosphere
• Space Flight Mechanics: Trajectory analysis for orbital injection and debris capture
• Space Propulsion: Analysis of propulsion systems applicable to the mission
• Space Systems: Mission design and analysis of the necessary mission systems
• Space Structures: Structural analysis of the space station to be designed
• Space Law: Analysis of international requirements and regulations that may impact the mission
• Social Media: Management of the team's LinkedIn and Instagram profiles
