IESEC (originally, acronym for Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) is an independent, non profit, non-partisan, apolitical student society.

AIESEC, with its presence in 127 countries around the world, is the largest international organization in the world, entirely run by students, with a network of more than 86,000 students from more than 2,400 universities, active for over 70 years.

AIESEC was founded after the Second World War, in 1948, with the aim of peace and the development of human potential, allowing young people to become responsible leaders guided by strong positive values, through practical experiences in dynamic environments.

Thanks to the support of companies, schools and organizations, AIESEC realizes international mobility programs that every day allow new cultures to have a constructive confrontation between different points of view and sensitive to issues of global importance.

Since September 2015, AIESEC has been working with the United Nations to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals: the targets to be reached by 2030 and which address the most important global issues, such as hunger in the world, global warming, the lack of equity, the lack of an education accessible to all.
