PoliTO invites all first-year international students and exchange students to participate in Welcome Weeks: events and initiatives created to welcome you to campus and start familiarizing with our university and the city.
The calendar can include campus tours, cultural events, socializing activities organized by the students associations fostering connections between students and their new environment. By providing a warm and inclusive atmosphere we ensure a smooth transition and a memorable experience for all international students.

Welcome Point
From September 2nd to October 13th, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Monday to Friday our staff - supported by Mentor Students will be available to provide assistance, answer questions and offer whole guidance, ensuring you a warm welcome and insertion within our university community.
You will receive information about the procedures to be completed upon your arrival and much more: from applying for the Fiscal Code (Codice Fiscale) to obtaining a Residence Permit (if required); from instructions on how to open a bank account to acquiring a SIM card for your smartphone; from information about cultural events, exhibitions and other scheduled activities of our calendar to general inquiries about the city that you may have.
Fiscal Code - Agenzia delle Entrate Desk
The Agenzia Entrate (Revenue Agency) desk for issuing Fiscal Codes is active.
Opening hours:
From September 12th to October 11th - every Thursday and Friday - from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
New openings: two additional opening days have been added, Wednesday 18th and Wednesday 25th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Cerco Alloggio - Accommodation desk
To receive assistance in finding housing solutions, Cerco Alloggio offers an orientation and support service.
Opening hours:
From August 26th to November 8th, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Immigration Desk (assistance with residence permits and immigration procedures)
To receive assistance in completing the residence permit application and for information on immigration procedures, you can contact the Immigration Desk.
Opening hours:
- From August 26th to September 6th, on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- From September 9th to October 4th, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- From October 7th to October 31st, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
