Recruiting Day - Danieli & C. Officine Meccaniche
Danieli is one of the world's three largest manufacturers of machines and plants for the steel industry. During the event, the company will share the open positions for direct hire and/or internship placement:
- Mechanical Designer: the Mechanical Designer is able to read and interpret technical drawings, developing detailed mechanical designs through knowledge and use of 2D/3D software (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor) and the Microsoft Office package.
- Process Technologist: is responsible for defining quality-critical process parameters and related control plans in order to industrialize new products and improve the manufacturing process through continuous technical research activities in the field.
- Project Manager: is responsible for managing the project from acquisition to the end of the plant warranty period, both in terms of contractual and technical aspects. To perform the role to the best of one's ability, it is necessary to have a technical understanding of how to manage time, cost and quality.
- Project Engineer: is the technical manager of the job order and is the link between the technical department and Project Manager in planning activities. He possesses cross-functional skills at the technical level to manage the team of mechanical designers involved in the development of the job order.
- Buyer: selects suppliers and manages relationships with them with the objective of purchasing components of mechanical machining or subassemblies, machines and plants (mechanical and/or electrical) of Danieli and non-Danieli technology.
- Technical Sales Proposal: is responsible for preparing commercial offers to the customer and supports the Sales Area Manager during technical and commercial negotiations.
- SW Developer: is responsible for the design of the the software for process control of plants dedicated to metalworking in compliance with company standards and in accordance with contractual requirements (functionality, performance, budget limits, etc.).
- HW Engineer: is responsible for hardware design and layout definition of switchboards and automation control boxes in simple plants. Also drafts technical specifications for the purchase of various types of materials (PLC boards, relays, signal converters, and others)
- Power System Engineer: is responsible for defining and executing tests to verify product quality and safety requirements as well as ensuring that the Power System reflects the technical specification in terms of performance and compliance.
