Third session

Within the third session of the 40th cycle, the following scholarships with predefined research topic in "Materials Science and Technology" are available:

  1. ASI - 3D Printing of RF sub-systems and components at millimeter wavelength operating at 40-50 GHz for space applications
  2. ASI - Vitrimeric composite materials for aerospace industry
  3. ITT Italia - Design and development of brake pads with sustainable materials
  4. IIT - High-performance and highly resilient secondary batteries for Space applications
  5. ASI - Development of nanomaterials and devices for the direct storage of light-energy
  6. Ateneo - New strategies for Surface Enhaced Raman Scattering-based sensing in complex biological samples
  7. Ateneo - Dynamic Polymer Networks
  8. Ateneo - Localized heating joining technologies

Second session

Within the second session of the 40th cycle, the following scholarships with predefined research topic in "Materials Science and Technology" are available:

  1. Ateneo - Design of bio-based adhesives
  2. DISAT - Development of enhanced ceramic materials for optimized reversible operation of solid oxide cells
  3. DISAT - Catalysts design and characterization addressing batteries and electrocatalysis applications
  4. Ateneo - Advanced Computational Approaches for Self-Organizing Dynamic Materials
  5. PNRR/NEST - Electrodic Materials for Post-Lithium batteries
  6. DM 630/FOMAS - Average Austenitic Grain Size Estimation with Ultrasonic Method compared with standardized method
  7. DISAT - Next-generation binder for electrochemical energy storage devices
  8. FOMAS S.p.A. - Study and optimization of vacuum induction melting processes on metallic materials
  9. DM 630/Michelin - Implementation of a new process for tire manufacturing
  10. DM 630/NPC Srl - Preparation of innovative (nano)materials for photocatalytic wastewater treatment. The activation of the position with scholarship is subject to the possible allocation of further funding by the MUR.
  11. DM 630/Leonardo - Simulation of Directed Energy Deposition process and material processing and chracterization
  12. DM 630/MAT3D Srl - Additive manufacturing (vat photopolymerization) of resins with vitrimeric properties. The activation of the position with scholarship is subject to the possible allocation of further funding by the MUR.
  13. CRT/DISAT - Dense Eutectic Ceramic Oxide By Additive Manufacturing: sustainable-by-design materials and technologies (ECOBAM)
