Garmin Tech Talk - Cross platform architectures for navigation applications
On October 7, 2023, don't miss the opportunity to meet Garmin Italy Technologies during its Tech Talk!
We will discuss how to approach a cross-platform and highly portable architecture for navigation applications, presenting common problems and solutions applied in the industry through our case study. We will cover code reusability and maintainability as crucial aspects of professional development, as well as common techniques to implement them such as layered architecture and abstraction. We will explore the benefits of designing modular code and share our experience of making it portable to more common targets such as mobile, embedded and web environments. Finally, we will look at how to manage the separation between business logic and UI and how to cope with native UI frameworks for mobile devices.
