Are you over 26 years old and/or have an ISEE value above €85.000?

Through its dedicated initiative, Politecnico di Torino reimburses:

  • Public transport passes
  • Bike-sharing subscriptions

Reimbursement of public transport passes and/or bike-sharing subscriptions

Eligibility requirements

a) Be enrolled full-time in the 2026/2027 academic year in a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, PhD programme

OR

b) in one of the following Inter-university programmes or Joint master's degree

For students referred to point a), must have earned the required number CFU credits between 10th August 2025 and 10th August 2026, as specified HERE

You may request reimbursement for the transport pass used to reach the Politecnico campus you attend, provided that it:

  • was purchased by 18th December 2026
  • starts no earlier than 1st July 2026
  • is valid for 10 to 12 months (weekly and monthly passes are not eligible) 

⚠️ If you attend the Mondovì campus, you may request reimbursement for a pass valid either to the Mondovì campus or the Turin campus.


You may request reimbursement for a bike-sharing subscription or membership covering the Turin metropolitan area, provided that it:

  • was purchased between 1st July 2026 and 18th December 2026 (if purchased earlier, it must remain valid for at least 90 days after 1 July 2026)
  • has a minimum duration of 90 days

First or second-cycle degree programme students

The reimbursement percentage for public transport passes is determined according to the applicant's valid ISEE value as of 18th December 2026.

⚠️ Non-EU students whose household income and assets are held abroad must also submit an Equivalent ISEE (ISEE Parificato) when applying for reimbursement if they belong to one of the following categories:

  • students enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree programme from academic year 2025/2026 onwards; 
  • students enrolled in Master's Degree or Specialist Degree programmes, regardless of their enrolment year; 
  • students transferring to Politecnico di Torino from another university for academic year 2026/2027.  

The Equivalent ISEE can be entered in the "ISEEU Submission – Other Benefits" section of the Teaching Portal.


The reimbursement percentage is applied to a maximum eligible expenditure of:

  • €208 for students with an ISEE up to €50.500
  • €258 for students with an ISEE above €50.500

The reimbursement is calculated:

  • on the purchase amount if it is below the applicable maximum (€208/€258)
  • on the University's maximum eligible amount (€208/€258) if the purchase amount exceeds that limit

⚠️ If you apply for reimbursement of both a transport pass and a bike-sharing subscription, the reimbursement percentage will be applied to the combined total, up to the maximum eligible amount.

PhD students

The maximum reimbursement dosn’t vary according to ISEE value and is €125

  • Access the online application through your personal page on the Teaching Portal
  • The application procedure will be available, for eligible students only, from the end of October 2026. The opening date will be communicated via your institutional email account. 
  • Application deadline: 18th December 2026
  • Once you have completed the application, you will receive a confirmation email at your institutional email address. If you do not receive it, please promptly submit a ticket under "Mobility and Culture Package."

Required documents

When submitting your application, upload the pass purchase receipt showing:

  • the pass holder's name and surname and the card number associated with the subscription
  • the purchase amount
  • the purchase date
  • the subscription validity period
  • a scan of both sides of the card carrying the subscription

If you have a GTT subscription, you must also specify the card type on which the subscription is loaded and its corresponding code.

Reimbursement for transport passes and/or annual bike-sharing subscriptions will be paid starting from April 2027, subject to verification of the submitted documentation.

Payments will be made exclusively by bank transfer to a bank account held or jointly held by the applicant.

Bank account details must be entered on your personal Teaching Portal page under:

Career > Fees and Payments > Payment Method

If you encounter problems entering your bank details, please submit a ticket under "Mobility and Culture Package", describing the issue.

Failure to update your bank details will prevent you from submitting the online reimbursement application.
