Many degree programmes at Politecnico di Torino are eligible for a State-guaranteed student loan.
You can apply for a student loan if you:
- are applying to a Bachelor's degree programme and you graduated from high school with a minimum grade of 75/100 (achieved in Italy or abroad);
- are applying to a Master's degree programme or to a Specialising Master's programme and you earned your Bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade of 100/110.
You do not need to provide proof of income or a salary guarantee.
You will start repaying your loan 30 months after the last instalment has been paid to you, giving you time to complete your studies before repayment begins.
You can apply for between €3,000 and €15,000 per year for multi-year programmes. You can use the loan flexibly, not only to pay your tuition fees.
Consap S.p.A. is the public authority that manages the Student Fund and checks that you meet the eligibility requirements. The funding institutions will assess your credit score and decide whether to grant the loan. You can find more information here.
Consap has appointed Habacus to verify students' eligibility for the State guarantee. Habacus is the only organisation recognised by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) that can work directly with both students and higher education institutions for this purpose.
