Alter.POLIS - Associazione di Promozione Sociale A.P.S.

Alter.POLIS is a student collective born in 2012 at Politecnico di Torino to offer an authentic, independent and inclusive student representation that is free from any political party, religion or trade union association. Its autonomy allows the Association to focus solely on the needs of the student community, without external influences, and to promote an idea of a truly open and participatory university.

The Association commitment is to build a space where the right to study, social justice and inclusiveness are central values: environmental sustainability, transfeminism and gender equality. Alter.POLIS pursues the goal of a university accessible to all, where individuals can express themselves freely and without fear of discrimination.

Through awareness campaigns, events and collaborations with local associations and movements, Alter.POLIS aims to build an aware and engaged community, both in the defense of student rights and promoting an inclusive and open dialogue with the university.
