Open Day - Prima Assicurazioni
Prima is an insurtech specialising in the sale of online policies: to date a leading company in online motor insurance, but its mission is to become the main player in traditional channels as well.
After a presentation of Prima, its mission and Pricing department, participants will have the opportunity to explore career paths within the department and discover what makes Prima Assicurazioni unique on the job market!
In order to get an insight into the day-to-day work of Data Scientists, participants will be divided into teams and face an exercise using real data. One of the exciting analytical challenges that Prima experts have faced in the past will be proposed and they will be asked to come up with a solution, using their analysis and reasoning skills.
The winning team will get an exclusive, personalised prize.
Students are advised to be equipped with a Laptop with Python or R installed (or with the possibility to use it online at Colab or similar), as it will be an indispensable tool for the success of the challenge.
The day will end with a networking aperitif with the Pricing department, during which we will be able to chat with colleagues and view our offices.

h 19:30 - Departure by shuttle back to Politecnico di Torino
The company will take care of transport, providing a shuttle bus departure and return to the Politecnico di Torino for all selected participants.
To take part in the event, it is necessary to register by 07/06 and be called by the company.
Further information and logistical details will be shared with the selected participants - shuttle service included.
