Infineon Austria @PoliTO: Intelligent Power Distribution for 12V/24V and 48V Automotive Applications

Join this Tech Talk with Infineon Technologies AG: the Company, with its 40 years of success and proven expertise in supplying high-quality semiconductors to electronic systems for the automotive industry, will introduce the main elements of a power distribution system, discuss challenges and give an outlook into future generations of modern power distribution systems in the 12V, 24V and 48V domain.

One essential part of the vehicle architecture is its power distribution system. As of today, it is based on a wire harness to transport energy, fuses to protect the wire harness, relays / switches to start and stop the energy flow and ECUs to control energy flows. During the event, interested students will get a general overview on the activities of Infineon AG, the European Project IPCEI on microelectronics as well as internship and/or work opportunities offered by the company.

This workshop is jointly hosted by Infineon Technologies Austria AG and ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Italia – Austria’s official agency for internationalisation and innovation.

Speakers will be:
Simone Fontanesi, Senior Manager Product Definition Engineering
Christina Wariwoda, Senior Specialist Collaborative Projects
