Tech Talk Bitron SpA: Innovative Technologies for Automotive Smart Surfaces & Smart Knobs

Bitron is a family-owned, multinational company with a clear vision: creating products and systems that improve people quality life and the world around them.
How do we do it?
Through more than 10,000 employees who work every day to shape the future of tomorrow. Bitron operates in the automotive, home appliance, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), energy and electric vehicle charging stations sectors, collaborating with the main international manufacturers and assisting them not only in the production of components, but also in their development and design.

On April 24th take part in this Tech Talk where we will talk about innovative technologies for Smart Surfaces & Smart Knobs in the Automotive sector. During the event, Lorenzo Cottura (Automotive Project Manager), Alessandro Marconcini (Functional Safety and Cyber Security Team Leader) and Giuseppe Pennestrì (Automotive System Validation Team Leader) will illustrate the innovations that are transforming the future of driving and mobility in the Automotive sector, focusing on Smart Surfaces and Smart Rotary Knobs.
We will present the technologies underlying these devices and the technical solutions that implement and improve the User Experience (UX), with particular attention to capacitive sensors, force sensors and actuators to simulate haptic feedback, as well as the integration of displays and the use of authentic materials such as wood, stone, fabrics and leather.
We will therefore focus on the application of Cyber Security in the Automotive sector and on System Validation activities, with which Bitron guarantees the perfect adherence of the products developed to its quality standards and the requirements requested by customers, also certifying the absence of vulnerabilities in cyber-security field.
