The Politecnico di Torino provides a grant of up to €50,000 to those who, starting from the ERC 2024 Work Program, submit an ERC Starting Grant (StG) or ERC Consolidator Grant (CoG) proposal obtaining an "A not invited" or "A invited" but not funded at the first evaluation step. The grant is awarded based on a plan of research activities consistent with the submitted proposal and a commitment to submit a new proposal under funding programs.


This grant is also offered to those who, starting from the FIS 2023 call, have passed the first evaluation step in FIS calls in the Starting and Consolidator schemes.

 

  • An academic position at PoliTO by taking advantage of the direct call provided by national legislation (https://www.mur.gov.it/it/atti-e-normativa/decreto-ministeriale-n-919-del-22-07-2022)
  • Reduction of the frontal teaching load
  • Support in finalizing the Grant Agreement (GA) between the ERC and PoliTO
  • Support for periodic reporting
  • Support in the management of GA amendments (e.g., for Portability)
  • Support in increasing the visibility of PIs and improving the ability to communicate one's research
