  • Tax exemption under Article 44 of DL 78/2020 (for those who have been teaching or researching abroad for at least two consecutive years and who move to Italy acquiring tax residence)

If you would also like to receive support from PoliTO at the proposal writing stage, you must submit the pre-application form within 4 months of the deadlines of the respective ERC calls:

  • RC Starting Grant: publication: July 10, 2024 - deadline: October 15, 2024
  • ERC Synergy Grant: publication: July 11, 2024 - deadline: November 6, 2024 
  • ERC Consolidator Grant: publication: September 26, 2024 - deadline: January 14, 2025 
  • ERC Advanced Grant: call 2024: publication: May 29, 2024 - deadline: August 29, 2024
  •                                        call 2025: publication: May 22, 2025 - deadline: August 28, 2025
  • ERC Proof of Concept: publication: November 16, 2023 - cut off date: September 17, 2024

The Work Program, information for applicants and other additional will be available on the European Commission website at the following  link.

The data and information received will be treated confidentially. You will be informed about the outcome after an internal screening process. If the evaluation is positive you will be contacted to start PoliTO support in the preparation of your ERC proposal.

Your application will be evaluated on the basis of:

  • Quality of your CV and project (information provided in the pre-application form)
  • Consistency of the project with PoliTO's research and teaching strategies.
