Collaborative research on thematic clusters and European Innovation Council

Politecnico di Torino carries out specific initiatives in the framework of  Pillar 2 and 3 of Horizon Europe in order to:

  • Improve dissemination of Horizon Europe funding opportunities related to Pillar 2 and Pillar 3 market-creating innovation funding instruments, in coordination with the Brussels office.
  • Strengthen the quality of proposals, through workshops for proposal writing related to Pillar 2 with the support of external firms of experts.
  • Increase visibility towards European institutions and internationally, through promotion and lobbying actions at regional, national and local level, and in Brussels, to foster project collaborations under Pillar 2 and Horizon Europe thematic platforms.
  • Improve system-building and networking capabilities and promote thematic expertise on specific research areas, identifie and implement useful tools for the creation of partnerships, with particular reference to the strategic areas of Politecnico Piattaforme (Platforms).

Cluster 6 Food Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment

Politecnico di Torino encourages participation in actions funded under the Horizon Europe Thematic Clusters. The University's faculty and researchers are offered targeted support for proposal preparation through information activities, training and dedicated services.

Infoday: european and national events and information days on funding opportunities related to thematic clusters, organized by RIMIN or other bodies.

Tips on-line: short online informative moments dedicated to the University staff on specific topics and news within the collaborative research funding programs, implemented by the RIMIN service.

Training: training initiatives for supporting the submission of project proposals.
