A call for scholarships has been launched in the frame of the project TOPoliTO: attracting Top Students at the Politecnico di Torino

DEADLINE TO APPLY:  August 30th, 2023

MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

You can apply only if you

  • are an international QUOTA  student (non EU- student students living abroad who need a study VISA) 
  • have a Secondary High School Diploma obtained outside Italy (or you are attending the last year)
  • have registered and passed Politecnico admission test (TIL I-D-P-A) with a score of AT LEAST 70
  • have  paid the first tuition fees instalment at the time of application  
  • enroll for the first time in a Bachelor of Science program at the Politecnico di Torino in 2023/2024 a.y.
  • are born on or after January 1st, 2002

INCOMPATIBILITIES

You  can't apply for scholarships if you:

  • have been legally resident or temporary domiciled in Italy
  • have already been enrolled, in an Italian or  foreign* University
  • have already a scholarships
  • are an Exchange incoming student

HOW MANY SCHOLARSHIPS:

       5 scholarships for Engineering field programs;

       3 scholarships for Architecture field programs

AMOUNT: 8.000 € per year (gross amount) for 2 years

WHO CAN APPLY: international Master of Science students who

  • have a Bachelor Degree or an equivalent academic qualification in a foreign education system, outside Italy, providing access to a postgraduate degree program
  • have been admitted to a Master Degree program at Politecnico di Torino in A.Y. 2023/24
  • will enroll for the first time in a.y. 2023-24 at  Politecnico di Torino    
  • hold a valid GRE®General Test or GRE®General at home (see art. 2 of the call  for further details) obtained not earlier than 5 years before scholarship application deadline with the following minimum scores:

          - Verbal Reasoning: 156/170

          - Quantitative Reasoning: 157/170

          - Analytical Writing: 3,5/6

  • Bachelor Degree or an “equivalent academic qualification” obtained in an University outside Italy (or at least 180 ECTS credits or equivalent for students enrolled in a foreign university in 5 or 6-year degree programs who have not graduated yet)
  • hold a valid GRE®General Test (see art.2 of the call for details)
  • fulfill the access requirements for admission to Master Degree Programs for a.y. 2019/20
  • enroll at Politecnico di Torino in the 2019/20 academic year -for the first time- in a Master of Science program in Engineering or Architecture field

Applicants must not

  • have been enrolled, before the 2017/18 academic year, in any First, Second, Third Cycle Degree program or Specializing Master in an Italian university, with the exception  of students in the frame of Double or Joint Degree projects who obtained a Laurea degree (First Cycle) of Politecnico di Torino or any other Italian University and a First Cycle Degree at their home foreign institution    
  • have obtained a credit recognition higher than 20 credits at Politecnico di Torino
  • be the recipient of any other Italian or foreign scholarships (including, for example,  scholarships of the  Regional Agency for the Right to Education of Piedmont–EDISU, Alta Scuola Politecnica (ASP), Invest your Talent, CRUI grants for beneficiaries of international protection or Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation–MAECI etc.) nor at the time of application, neither at the time of the publication of the scholarship list of standings, at the time of payment, and for the whole duration of the scholarship assignment

A call for 12 scholarships has been launched for international Master of Science students enrolled in a.y. 2016/17 in the frame of the project TOPoliTO: attracting Top Students at the Politecnico di Torino.

Scholarships are distributed as follows:

  • 10 scholarships to students enrolled in Engineering field programs
  • 2 scholarships to students enrolled in Architecture field programs

The gross amount of the scholarship is 8.000 € per year for 2 years (duration of the Master of Science program).

The call is open to international students who:

  • have a Bachelor Degree obtained in an University outside Italy (or 180 CFU equivalent in case of 5 or 6 years degree programs)
  • have not been enrolled, before the 2016/17 academic year, in any First, Second, Third Cycle Degree programme or Specializing Master in an Italian university, (with the exception of students in the frame of Double or Joint Degree projects who have obtained a Laurea degree -First Cycle- of Politecnico di Torino or any other Italian University and a First Cycle Degree at their home institution)
  • have achieved at least 40 credits within 23/09/2017 (excluding recognized credits and language exams not passed at Politecnico di Torino)
  • have not obtained a credit recognition higher than 20 credits
  • have registered for 2017/18 a.y. in the second year of the same Master of Science program of first enrollment within October 9th , 2017 (according to the 2017/18 Student Guide)
  • are not recipient of any other Italian or foreign scholarships (including scholarships of the  Regional Agency for the Right to Education of Piedmont -EDISU
  • are not part of a Double or Joint Degree project as an incoming student attending a Master of Science programme.
