Student careers

At Politecnico you can complete a full Bachelor's or Master's degree programme. Our University offers a wide course catalogue and welcomes students who have a previous degree. 

A Laurea (Bachelor's degree - 1st level degree of the Bologna process) is the degree that you will obtain after compelting a study programme of three years. Its objective is to teach general scientific methods and contents as well as specific professional knowledge. You need to earn 180 credits in order to get a Bachelor's degree. 

A Laurea Magistrale (Master's degree - 2ndlevel degree of the Bologna process) is the degree that you will obtain after compelting a study programme of two years. It is open to students who hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Its objective is to consolidate and study more in depth the scientific contents and specific professional skills gained during the Bachelor's path. You need to earn 120 credits in order to get a Master's degree.

Student Careers Unit

 

The Student Careers Unit is responsible for managing the academic records of students enrolled in Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes. Its main activities include handling Personal Study Plans/Annual Personal Study Plans, organizing graduation exams, managing withdrawal and transfer procedures, and enrollment in master's degree programmes.
The office also deals with general administrative tasks such as issuing degree diplomas and professional qualification certificates, providing smart cards, and issuing certificates for both current students and graduates.
