Requirements
To enrol in single courses you need to:
- submit the application for admission to the Master's degree programme you are interested in;
- meet the following admission requirements: suitable academic performance + curricular requirements;
- have already earned your Bachelor's degree;
- meet the deadline for enrolment in single courses.
Procedure
The guided procedure for enrolment in single courses will become visible as soon as you receive a positive evaluation for your curricular requirements and academic performance and a negative evaluation for language requirements (language certificate missing) under the Evaluations section of the Apply@polito platform.
- Go to the Evaluations section of your personal page of the Apply@polito platform and click “Enrol in single courses”.
- Go to the Single Courses section: you will see the list of all first-semester courses offered in Year 1 by all the specialist pathways of the Master's degree programme you have chosen (please see the course catalogue of your programme published on the website). You do not need to select all the courses, but only the courses that you want to attend. Do not forget that after completing the enrolment process, you will not be able to include in your APSP the first-semester courses that you have not purchased during this phase, except for the courses that can be be advanced at Bachelor’s level (these courses will be marked in the course catalogue)
- Select your courses, save the list and submit your request from the SAVE and SUBMIT section.
- Complete your enrolment from the Evaluations section and pay the required amount.
IMPORTANT: Enrolment in single courses for unfulfilled language requirements is permitted exclusively in first semester. Courses not selected at this stage cannot be added later, except for courses marked as can be taken before attendance in the course catalogue.
Please note that for applicants from other Italian Universities
After enrolling in single courses is necessary to come in person to the Student Careers Unit during opening times, bringing with you a valid ID, to complete the enrolment process with the identification and verification of your personal data. Failure to do so entails permanent exclusion from the enrolment process. The deadline for completing the identification phase is 03/12/2027. Until the completion of this phase, you will have limited access to the services available on your personal page on the Teaching Portal
What happens after obtaining the language certificate:

- IELTS certificate obtained outside Politecnico you must enter the TRF number. (You can find this number on your certificate or in the message you received by e-mail when the results were published.)

What happens if you don't obtain the certificate by 24/03/2027:
You will not be allowed to enrol in any Master's degree programme for the academic year 2025/26. Your enrolment in single courses (exclusively first-semester courses already present in your Annual Personal Study Plan) will remain valid for the entire academic year (2025/26) until the end of the Autumn exam session.
Important
- If you are going to get your language certificate by 12/11/2026, you do not need to enrol in single courses. In this case, you can enrol directly in the Master's degree programme you have chosen in the first semester.
- Students have been denied admission to a Master’s degree programme due to unfulfilled language requirements, and those who do not get a language certificate by 24/03/2027 will NOT be able to enrol in single courses “for open competitive exams, professional updating, and requalification.
