LEARNING CONTENTS PRESENTATION

The course deeps Maintenance Engineering strategies in order to perform implement a process of continuous improvement of the maintenance process. Starting from the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) analyses, this course introduces to the Reliability Centered Maintenance process, by investigating methods, tools and practices.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

The module provides a deep knowledge for industrial engineers to evaluate Maintenance KPI and to apply Maintenance Engineering tools to improve the Maintenance process and the Maintenance plan, by selecting the proper Maintenance Policies.

PROGRAMME

The course addresses the topics mentioned here below:

·         Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) analyses and tools;

·         The Reliability Cantered Maintenance process and standards;

·         Criteria and methods to select the best Maintenance Policies;

·         The potential role of artificial intelligence in Maintenance Engineering.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The course includes frontal theoretical lessons alternating with team working allowing to the application of methods learned during the lessons. The module is completed by some thematic seminars, delivered by company specialists, who define how the topics are implemented in company standards and practices.
