LEARNING CONTENTS PRESENATION

The course introduces students to the Asset Integrity management (AIM), a working framework able to verify that the appropriate processes, procedures and tools are in place to ensure that the power plant's assets operate safely, effectively and efficiently at every stage of the life cycle.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

The module provides the skills to understand their role and to contribute, with their own daily activities, to the overall Asset Integrity Management system set by the Company.

PROGRAMME

The course addresses the topics mentioned here below:

-       Introduction to Asset Integrity Management;

-       Reference standards;

-       The Asset Integrity Management process and methodologies;

-       Implementation of Asset Integrity/Process Safety Management Plans;

-       Application of the Asset Integrity/Process Safety Management over the system lifecycle.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The course includes frontal theoretical lessons alternating with team working allowing to the application of methods learned during the lessons. The module is completed by some thematic seminars, delivered by company specialists, who define how the topics are implemented in company standards and practices.
