LEARNING CONTENTS PRESENATION

The course deals with the role of Maintenance Engineering to preserve system performances in term of safety, environmental protection and efficient operations, in the overall framework of Asset Integrity Management. It provides the fundamentals on Maintenance Engineering investigations, Maintenance implementation processes, tools and technologies.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

The module provides an overall knowledge about the Maintenance management process and tools, providing the capability to the process engineer to efficiently interact in the process and understand the role of each task, practice, maintenance policy (corrective and preventive) and technology applied.

PROGRAMME

The course addresses the topics mentioned here below:

·         Maintenance & Maintenance management

·         Fault diagnosis

·         Failure Management policies & Maintenance policies

·         Maintenance strategy and process

·         Technologies for predictive and “on condition” maintenance

·         Role of Internet of Things in Maintenance and Asset Integrity Management

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

The course includes frontal theoretical lessons alternating with team working allowing to the application of methods learned during the lessons. The module is completed by some thematic seminars, delivered by company specialists, who define how the topics are implemented in company standards and practices.
