LEARNING CONTENTS PRESENTATION
The course is dedicated to the presentation of the basic principles and methods of logistics and supply chains applied to business and service contexts.
EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES
The course aims to provide the student with the basic tools of logistics methods from a business perspective.
PROGRAMME
The lessons will follow the following sequence:
- Introduction to supply chain and logistics;
- Structuring of a logistics process;
- Inventory management methods;
- Push and Pull strategies;
- Risk analysis of a logistics chain.
TEACHING METHODOLOGY
The course will be developed alternating theoretical lessons with practical applications to a project work, regarding a logistical process defined by the participants. The project work will be presented at the end of the course.
