Below are the rules for enrolment in the Master's degree programme in Digital skills for sustainable societal transitions for applicants coming from other universities.

The curricular requirements of the applicants will be verified by a specific Committee through the Apply@polito platform.

Curricular requirements for access to the master's degree program are the possession of a degree obtained in the following classes (or other degree obtained abroad deemed eligible under Art. 6 c.2 ex D.M. 270/04):

Degree class D.M. 270/2004D.M. 509/1999

Scienze e tecnologie informaticheL-31 26
Scienze matematicheL-35 32

or, alternatively, knowledge acquired in the previous educational path expressed in the form of free credits referring to specific scientific-disciplinary fields or groups of them.

It is necessary to have acquired a minimum number of credits as specified in the table:

Corso di Laurea magistraleCrediti formativiSettori scientifico-disciplinari
DIGITAL SKILLS FOR SUSTAINABLE SOCIETAL TRANSITIONS1° GRUPPO (minimo 25 CFU)MAT/03, MAT/05, MAT/07, MAT/08, MAT/09, FIS/01, ING-INF/05, INF/01, ING-IND/35, IUS/09, SECS-P/02, SECS-P/07, SECS-P/08, SPS/04, SPS/08, SPS/09
2° GRUPPO (minimo 45 CFU)ICAR/06, ICAR/08, ICAR/18, ICAR/20, ICAR/21, ICAR/22, L-ART/06, M-GGR/01, M-GGR/02, SPS/07, SPS/08, SPS/10, SECS-P/06, ING-IND/11, ING-IND/10, ICAR/07, ING-IND/16, ING-IND/22

The course credits from the scientific-disciplinary fields in both the first group and the second group are counted in priority towards meeting the requirement for the first group. The remaining credits are counted towards meeting the requirement of the second group. The credits of a teaching course may then be counted towards meeting the minimum number of credits in both groups.

Within the limit of 10 cfu the Course Coordinator may admit the candidate; if the number of missing credits is higher than 10 cfu the evaluation will be submitted to the final approval of the Course Coordinator or Vice-Coordinator.

Applications from graduates or students coming from degree programmes of another class will be subject to evaluation. In the event that curricular requirements are not met, curricular additions will be identified.

Any curricular integrations identified by the evaluator must be filled prior to enrolment in the Master's degree programme.

In order to make up the curricular integration, in the event that it is less than or equal to 60 credits, the candidate must enrol in the single courses for unfulfilled academic requirements and subsequently attend the courses and sit the relative exams: this enrolment may only include in the annual personal study plan the courses assigned by the evaluator as an unfulfilled academic requirement.

Successful completion of the admission test will allow, exclusively for candidates who must complete the curricular integration, access also to the academic year following the one for which the admission test was taken (in any case after taking the exams relating to the curricular integration).

If you meet the curricular requirements, we will verify if your academic performance is suitable for admission in the following ways:

  1. Verification of the weighted average of all grades
  2. Admission test (Interview)

1. Verification of the weighted average of all grades

Applicants from other universities (not Università degli Studi di Torino)

You must have a weighted average grade equal to or greater than 25/30, regardless of how may years it took you to graduate. The weighted average is calculated on all credits with a grade in thirtieths acquired and useful for a first degree with the exclusion of the worst 28 credits, without any rounding.

Applicants fromUniversità degli studi di Torino

The following applicants can be admitted to our Master's degree programmes:

- time to graduation is equal to or lower than 4 years (1) regardless of the weighted average grade

- time to graduation is greater than 4 years but lower than or equal to 5 years (1) with weighted average grade equal to or greater than 24/30

-time to graduation is greater than 5 years with weighted average grade(2) equal to or greater than 25/30

In case of career shortening, the calculation of the years must be increased in proportion to the number of validated credits (10-60 credits = 1 year, etc.). The worst 28 credits must be subtracted proportionally to the number of recognized credits.

(1) The last useful session to meet the average requirement is the December graduation session.

(2) The weighted average is obtained from the sum (marks x credits) / sum of credits and is calculated on all credits with a grade in thirtieths acquired and useful for a first degree with the exclusion of the worst 28 credits, without any rounding.

2. Admission test (Interview)

For all students who do not meet the required curricular requirements (verification of the weighted average grade), there is an interview to verify their personal preparation.

The outcome of the admission test will be announced on the personal page of the APPLY@polito platform.

Enrolment

Your offer of admission is only valid for the academic year in which you submitted your application. This means that if you are admitted to the programme but you eventually do not enrol, you will have to submit your application through the Apply@polito platform again for admission and pass the admission test in future academic years.
