    • Applicants from Politecnico di Torino: you are allowed to enrol in the programme only after earning your Bachelor's degree (student status: GRADUATED)
    • Applicants from other Universities: register your Bachelor's degree (by entering the final grade and the date of degree conferral in the "Educational Background" section);
  • log in to your personal page of the Teaching Portal - My academic progress TAB -  Apply@polito portlet;
  • click on “Enrol in the "Evaluations" section;
  • confirm your data  previously entered on the Apply@polito platform;
  • pay the requested amount of your tuition fees using the payment methods stated below.
    • Students from other Universities: € 100,00 paid for the application fee will be considered part of the total amount.

At the end of the payment procedure, you will see on your screen your student ID number and  the access credentials for your personal page.

You can also book an appointment for the collection of the University System Smart Card at the Office of the University Registrar* (main campus): the collection is not compulsory (so you can also make no appointment). However, if you do not collect your Smart Card, you will not be able to make use of some University services, such as book loans at the library, access and printing of documents in basic computer laboratories. To modify/choose an appointment, select the  Apply@polito portlet from your personal page.

Enrolment must be completed within the deadlines.

Payment methods for the first instalment

Payment can be made in the following ways:

  • credit cards (or other forms of payment provided by the PagoPA platform), which generate an immediate payment;
  • pre-printed payment notices (MAV on the PagoPA platform), which generate a deferred payment. If you pay using this method, you must go back to the Apply@polito platform and enter the payment date in a specific field (self-declaration in compliance with art. 46 and 47 of DPR no. 445/2000). In the event of a false or incorrect self-certification,  enrolment will be cancelled and you will lose all rights to enrol in academic year 2023/24.

Students from other Universities: the system will display the following warning "Immatricolazione da completare" (enrolment to be completed).

Until the end of the full completion of the process, you will have limited access to the University services available through the personal page of the Teaching Portal (for example, you will not be able to request enrolment certificates, will not be able to book exams, etc.).

Enrolment is completed with the recognition and verification of personal data which must be carried out for all categories of  students, under penalty of definitive exclusion from the enrolment procedure. The deadline for completing enrolment in first semester is 19th December 2023.

The recognition and verification of personal data takes place at the Office of the University Registrar. Please book an in-person appointment choosing from a calendar of dates (at the same time, you will be able to collect your Smart Card *).

* The Office of the University Registrar (Corso Castelfidardo, 39 Torino -  ground floor - Cittadella Politecnica) is in charge of verifying the documents and delivering the Smart Card also to the students of the Architecture area.

After enrolling, students must define thier Personal Study Plan and create their Annual Personal Study Plan. For  procedures and details, read the specific chapter of the Student Guide of your Master's degree programme.

For students enrolled in 1st semester, the procedure must be completed by:

  • 24th September 2023 if you wish to express your course preferences;
  • within 10 days of the date of enrolment for students who enrol from 15th  September to  3rd  October 2023.

Students who enrol after 24th September 2023 will be able to express their course preferences from among the courses that have residual places available in a period to be defined (this will be possible there are at least two different courses to choose).

The deadline for enrolment is  3rd October 2023.

For students who enrol in  2nd semester, the procedure must be completed 10 days after the date of enrolment.

If you do not meet the curricular requirements when you apply for admission to a Master's degree programme, you will have to enrol in single courses to make up for your unfulfilled academic requirements before you can actually enrol in a Master's degree programme.

You can include up to a maximum of 60 credits in your Annual Personal Study Plan.

You will be able to enrol in the Master’s degree programme you have been admitted to AFTER you pass all the exams suggested by the Teaching Committee to make up for your unfulfilled academic requirements and AFTER you receive a positive evaluation of your portfolio (you will have to apply again in the next academic year).

The deadline for single course enrolment is 4th March 2024. If you are going to get your Bachelor’s degree by September 2022, we strongly recommend that you enrol in single courses before the end of September so you will be able to access all services starting from the beginning of classes.

This type of enrolment cannot include any courses belonging to a Master’s degree programme, as it is intended for the remedial of Bachelor’s incomplete courses for admission to a Master’s degree programme.

When all grades of your single courses are registered in your transcript, you need to contact the Office of Student Services using the Ticketing Service. The Office of Student Services will close your position as “student enrolled in single courses” and you will be able to enrol in your Master’s degree programme.

PLEASE NOTE: If you were denied admission to a Master’s degree programme due to your unfulfilled academic requirements but you failed to enrol in single courses to make up for your Bachelor’s incomplete courses, you will NOT be allowed to enrol in single courses for competition, refresher and professional training choosing the same courses of the Master's degree programme for which you have applied.

All information on the internal transfer procedure is published in the "Transfers" chapter  of the Student guide a.y. 2023/24 of the Master's degree programme in which you intend to continue your studies.

Students with a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree

The Academic Advisor of the Master's degree programme you are interested in will have to check your Bachelor's degree.

Only if approved, the Academic Advisor will recognize your previously earned credits.

If you have a non-Italian Bachelor’s degree programme and you are interested in applying for an internal transfer to an italian-taught Master's degree programmeyou need to have the required Italian language certificate.

If you are enrolled in a Master’s degree programme at another Italian University and you intend to transfer to a Master’s degree programme offered by Politecnico di Torino, you must submit your previous academic records for an evaluation from the Apply@polito platform. Make sure you meet the deadlines and the Admission requirements. This evaluation is useful to determine your eligibility for admission, your study plan and a possible recognition of your previous credits.

You are required to pay a fee (Euro 100.00). This amount will be deducted from your tuition fees if you enrol in the same academic year for which you applied. This fee will not be refunded.

We remind you that you must earn at least 50 credits at Politecnico (on top of the thesis credits) in order to attain your Master’s degree.

Exclusively the students who - following the verification of their Bachelor's degree -  meet the admission requirements to the Master's degree program (check the Admission requirementswill be able to proceed with the transfer request at the university of origin.

More information on how to request a transfer is available in the Student guide 2023/2024.

We remind you that any English language exam (graded or ungraded) that you have passed while you were enrolled at another university IS NOT accepted by Politecnico in substitution for English certificate level B2 required.

PLEASE NOTE: you must consider whether to start the transfer procedure (congedo) at your university of origin or not. This is suggested in case you have already passed some exams for which you intend to request the recognition from Politecnico di Torino. Otherwise, if you have not taken any exams yet, or if you have taken just a few exams, we suggest that you take into consideration the possibility to withdraw from your current university (rinuncia agli studi) rather than start the transfer procedure. This would allow you to start a brand new academic path at Politecnico di Torino.

To enrol in a Master’s degree programme at Politecnico di Torino and obtain the recognition of your previously earned credits (credit transfer), you need to have one of the following degrees:

  • Master’s degree - Laurea Magistrale D.M. 270/04
  • Laurea Specialistica D.M. 509/99
  • Five-year degree - Laurea quinquennale prior to D.M. 509/99.

If you have one of the above mentioned degrees, you are required to submit your previous academic records for an evaluation from the Apply@polito platform, in compliance with the deadlines and the Admission requirements. This evaluation is useful to determine your eligibility for admission, your study plan and a possible recognition of your previous credits.

It is possible to request a credit transfer through Apply@polito platform also if you have withdrawn or forfeited from your previuos academic path.

We remind you that, in case of admission, you must earn at least 50 credits at Politecnico (on top of the thesis credits) in order to attain your Master’s degree.

You will be able to enrol in the programme after you receive the outcome of the evaluation which will be available on the Apply@polito platform under the Evaluations section.

You must pay a fixed fee (€ 100,00) for the evaluation of you previous academic records. This amount will be deducted from you tuition fees if you decide to enrol at Politecnico in the same academic year for which you applied for admission; otherwise, it will not be refunded.
