In this section you are required to provide information on your previous academic studies (university of origin), in particular:

  • the denomination of your Bachelor’s degree programme and degree classification. If you have already obtained your Bachelor’s degree, please enter the date of degree conferral and your final grade;
  • each course or learning activity included in your Personal Study Plan with its Scientific Disciplinary Field (SSD), number of credits, exam date and grade (if already passed):
    • For each exam that you have passed you need to provide the Scientific Disciplinary Field (SSD), the number of  credits, the date of the exam and grade;
    • Pass-or-fail exams (registered without a grade on a scale of 30) might not have a Scientific Disciplinary Field (SSD). In this case please select ***N/A*** (not available);
    • If a course has more than one Scientific Disciplinary Field (SSD), you need to enter it as many times as the number of its SSD. Each time you need to repeat the denomination of the course, the grade  and the number of credits for each SSD;
    • not passed exams at the time of application submission: if you pass these exams and they are registered after the submission of your application, you will have to to add their grades, dates and number of credits after the submission of your application.

For the purpose of a correct career evaluation, the complete study plan - including failed examinations, any internships and/or final examinations - for a total of 180 cfu must be included.

You can modify these data (EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND) until the registration of your Bachelor's degree (date of conferral and final grade). After this registration  (“Degree awarded”), if you wish to modify your data, you need to contact the Office of Student Services using the Ticketing system (“FAQ/Ticket” section).

If you want to transfer to a Master’s degree programme, you also need to provide the details of the Master’s exams that you have already taken at your current university.

"Language skills" section

In this section, you need to enter the details of your English language certificate.

You can submit your application even if you do not have a language certificate yet, but you need to get it and upload a scanned copy of your certificate before the deadline for online enrolment.

The procedure for filling in the certification is carried out by selecting from the different drop-down menus the most suitable option for the certification to be considered for admission. The different fields to be filled in are:

Language: English;
Family: select the certification type (IELTS, CAMBRIDGE, TOEFL, etc.);
Certificate: select the CEFR level;
Date of certificate: when it was obtained.

IELTS Verification

To verify your IELTS you must enter their TFR number. You can find this number on your certificate or in the message you received by e-mail when the results were published.

Cambridge Verification

If you have a Cambridge certificate must log in to their Cambridge personal page and select the option that allows Cambridge to share your results with Politecnico di Torino (follow the instructions available at https://support.cambridgeenglish.org/hc/en- gb/articles/360021664771- Sending-your-results-to-a-recognising- organisation). Enter the Candidate's ID number – or – if this is not possible – upload the certificate or Statement of results.

TOEFL Verification

For TOEFL certificates, you must enter the code of Politecnico di Torino (C285) when they register for the exam. On the Apply@polito platform, it is necessary to indicate the Appointment Number. Those who do not indicate the Politecnico di Torino through the unique code must attach the scan of the certification for verification purposes.

Applicants who have a different English certificate (included in the list of accepted certificates published on the CLA website) must upload a scanned copy of their certificate to the Apply@polito platform.

Politecnico reserves itself the right to sample check  5% of applicants who will be required to present their original certificate. The University will check the certificate’s authenticity with the Examination Boards.

In view of the long waiting time for receipt of the original certification, it is advisable to obtain certification in good time to meet the deadlines.

We remind you that any English language exam (graded or ungraded) that you have passed while you were enrolled at another university IS NOT accepted by Politecnico in substitution for the required English language certificate.

"Select your programme" section

In this section you have to choose the Master’s degree programme/s you want to apply for. You can apply for a maximum of 2 Master’s degree programmes.

We remind you that you will NOT be able to modify your choices after you submit your application.

"Save and submit" section

IMPORTANT: Make sure that all the information is correct before you click the SUBMIT/SEND button.

All data entered on the portal are accompanied by a self-certificate within the meaning of art. 46 of D.P.R no.445 of 28/12/2000 and further amendments: candidates declare that they are aware of the criminal penalties for false declarations (art.76) and the forfeiture of the rights they might have acquired (art. 75).

Politecnico will receive your application for admission only if you SUBMIT it within the deadline illustrated in the Deadlines section.
