Accreditation system that defines standards to qualify high-quality engineering degree courses in Europe and worldwide. These requirements have been established taking into account the views and perspectives of all key stakeholders: students, higher education institutions, employers, professional organisations and accreditation agencies. Between 2011 and 2012 the Politecnico di Torino developed a pathway to obtain the EUR-ACE® label for eight of its Degree Programmes, four three-year and four master's degrees.
The accreditation, valid from 2012 to 2018, was achieved for:
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Construction Engineering
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering
In 2017, the University then embarked on a new path to obtain EUR-ACE® accreditation for four more Degree Programmes:
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Engineering
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
The accreditation obtained for these Degree Programmes is valid from the end of 2017 to the end of 2023.
In 2019, the University embarked on a new path to obtain EUR-ACE® accreditation for the Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Civil Engineering. In addition, visits were held to confirm EUR-ACE accreditation for the Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering and Electronic Engineering.
The accreditation obtained for these Degree Programmes is valid from November 2019 to November 2025.
In June 2023, surveillance visits were held to confirm EUR-ACE accreditation for the Degree and Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Automotive Engineering and Electronic Engineering. In particular, the visits took place on the following days:
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Civil Engineering: 20 and 21 June 2023
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering: 29 and 30 June 2023
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering: 29 and 30 June 2023
