Administrative support structures

The technical-administrative staff, transversal to the teaching and research areas and working on quality and evaluation, provides support through the following main activities:

  • implementation of actions promoted by the PQA;
  • collection, analysis and processing of data required for Quality Assurance procedures;
  • administrative technical support to the contact persons of the peripheral units for Quality Assurance activities;
  • organisation, preparation and filing of deeds and documents.

 

Administrative support also interacts with other University Departments, depending on the QA areas concerned, such as with the RIMIN Department (Research, Relationships with Companies and Innovation area), for topics related to Research and the Third Mission, or with the PhD Department for the specific area of the PhD.

  • PEPS Department (HR, Research and Development)

    • Strategic Planning, Assessment, Quality Assurance

    • The Service oversees the support activities for strategic planning and its declination in the various implementation and monitoring contexts, the activities aimed at supporting the University's quality assurance and evaluation processes, with a particular focus on the evaluation and enhancement of scientific production, in close liaison with the Governing Bodies and with the other units involved in various capacities. It also oversees the development of analyses and decision support tools in connection with the University Research Centre and the development of transversal dashboards, as well as the consolidation of the Data warehouse and its integration with the management information systems.

 

  • STUDI Department (Student, Education and International Affairs)

    • Development of Education and Quality Assurance Division
    • Course Catalogue and Quality Assurance of Degree Programmes Unit - Head of Unit Ilaria Tobaldo

    • On the subject of Quality Assurance of Degree Programmes, the office deals with:
      • management of quality procedures and accreditation of degree programmes in liaison with the PEPS Department within the framework of the activities of the PQA and the Evaluation Board;
      • technical and operational support to the Joint Committee on Teaching (CPD) and coordination of activities related to the processing of student and teacher questionnaire results;
      • support for the definition of the University Teaching Regulations and the Single Annual Degree Programme Report (SUA - CdS);
      • coordination of the drafting of Degree Programme regulations.
