Workshop fondamenti di Machine Learning e Deep Learning - Team MALTO
Team MALTO is excited to announce MALTO’s second Machine Learning Workshop Series: a beginner-friendly experience designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of Machine Learning through interactive and practical sessions.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Anyone at Politecnico di Torino – no prior experience in Machine Learning required!
Just bring your curiosity and some basic Python knowledge.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE:
Day 1 –Saturday, 4 October | 9:00–13:00 Topics: Data Exploration + Classification
Data Exploration: Learn how to load, visualize, and understand datasets, spotting patterns and preparing data for machine learning.
Classification: Discover how to train models that can categorize data into classes (e.g., spam vs. not spam, healthy vs. diseased).
Day 2 – Saturday, 11 October | 9:00–13:00 Topics: Regression + Introduction to Deep Learning
Regression: Understand how to build models that predict continuous values (e.g., predicting house prices or exam scores).
Introduction to Deep Learning: Get an overview of neural networks, understand how they learn from data, and explore real-world applications like image recognition and natural language processing.
WHEN and WHERE:
Saturday, 4 October | 9:00–13:00 & Saturday, 11 October | 9:00–13:00
Room 29 (equipped with desks and power sockets)
It is very important to participate in these workshops before the recruitment!
The recruitment will take place a few weeks after the workshops. By joining the workshops, you will learn many tools that you will use once you become part of the Team!
