Politecnico di Torino aims to develop 3 sustainability dimensions (environmental, economic, social) according to the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals adopted in 2015. The related actions consist of: managment and infrastructural initiatives, 2030 Agenda awareness raising and promotion, training and public advocacy supporting green transition policies - both towards Politecnico's and local community, including businesses and citizens.
The main fields of action are 5: Energy and Climate, Resources, Education, Mobility and Transports, Inclusion and Equity. Each field structures its initiatives according to goal-oriented interventions.
Politecnico has currently selected carbon neutrality by 2040 among the goals with the greatest cross-cutting impact on all the fields of action.
