THE DOCUFILM "MATERIA VIVA" ("LIVING MATTER")

Technology is increasingly present in our lives.
In many cases, it improves our lives, but often we are unable to manage it, especially when it reaches the end of its life cycle. This issue can create serious imbalances that impact our planet. The docufilm "Materia Viva" addresses the concept of pervasive technology, expanding on a range of environmental topics: recycling and resource management, the circular economy, and even issues like climate change and climate neutrality.

"Materia Viva" is a docufilm shot in Italy, Spain, and the United States, aiming to explain the importance of properly recycling our electrical and electronic devices when we decide to dispose of them. Written and directed by Andrea Frassoni and Marco Falorni with the collaboration of Stefania Vialetto, it was produced by Libero Produzioni in collaboration with Erion WEEE, featuring a prominent cast including Susan Sarandon, Shailene Woodley, Carlo Conti, Francesco Arca, Sonia Peronaci, Federica Pellegrini, Alessandro Del Piero, Irene Grandi, Tormento, Jago, Francesca Fialdini, Marcello Ascani, Tamara Donà, Luca Perri, Emilio Cozzi, Serena Giacomin, Mattia Teruzzi, and many others.
Awarded the "Best Green Documentary" prize at Giffoni Hub and the "GREEN AWARD" at the Venice Film Festival.
