FareEco: conoscere, cooperare, cambiare
On May 18, from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, the inauguration of the environmental initiative “FareEco: conoscere, cooperare, cambiare” will be held at Cascina Roccafranca. The initiative stems from the efforts of a group of volunteer citizens who met to discuss the climate crisis and organized this small festival to raise awareness and share practical information for environmental well-being.
The results of this ambitious initiative will be harvested throughout the year. With the start of the new social year, Sportidea will present a series of conferences with scholars who will offer practical solutions that everyone can implement in their lives to make a difference and generate collective change. There will also be artistic performances and cultural initiatives, such as book presentations on the subject.
The project will be structured around ten thematic meetings for training and information, themed shows, literary evenings, and activities related to individual actions for improving daily environmental impact (called APE, Personal Ecological Activation). Activities and meetings will take place starting from May 2024 and continue for a whole year until May 2025.
During the inaugural day, the exhibition “Scatta il clima” will also be displayed at Cascina Roccafranca. This exhibition was created as part of the “Tecnologia diffusa” project in collaboration with the Green Team of the Polytechnic University and the Network of Neighborhood Houses.
The initiative is part of the 2024 Sustainable Development Festival organized by ASviS. “FareEco: conoscere, cooperare, cambiare” aims, as the title suggests, to inform and generate change together through cooperation and the recognition of good environmental practices tested by citizens and through informative meetings covering a variety of environmental topics.
