The Career Hub at Politecnico di Torino is the go-to place for resources and services dedicated to the professional growth of students, PhD students and researchers, supporting them in building rewarding careers with a high social impact. At the same time, it is a privileged channel for talent acquisition, responding to the skills needs of the world of work.Its mission is to foster dialogue between the University, businesses, public and private entities, facilitating the matching of supply and demand for skilled labour and promoting strategic networking opportunities. The Division manages relations with employers for talent acquisition, it analyses companies' needs, it designs recruiting and employer branding events, and it coordinates the job posting platform. In addition, it provides career coaching and career advising services, promotes research careers outside the academic sphere, and it manages and it monitors internships and post-graduate employment outcomes together with the relevant University Offices.

Domain Expert
She offers personalised support to students, PhD students and researchers, with a particular focus on those at the beginning of their professional careers. She promotes career development, well-being and positive relationships in study and research contexts through mentoring, coaching and career guidance activities. She designs individual and group programmes, organises thematic workshops and provides advice on CVs, applications and interviews, also involving external experts. She collaborates with various University Offices to offer tools, materials and events dedicated to career planning, promoting opportunities both within and outside academia.

Researchers' Career Unit

The Unit is committed to promoting integration between research, education and the work enrviroment, with a particular focus on developing sustainable and informed careers for doctoral students and researchers at every stage of their educational and professional paths. To this end, it analyses and maps the training needs related to entering the labour market, actively interacting with internal and external stakeholders. It designs and implements orientation, skills development and onboarding programmes, facilitating links with the professional world. It also supports entrepreneurial and technology transfer initiatives, collaborating with internal structures to enhance talent, promote mobility and amplify the impact of research.

Internships Unit

The Unit supervises, in an integrated manner, the planning, management and promotion of curricular and extracurricular work placements, both in Italy and abroad, ensuring coordination between the academic departments and the administrative units involved, as well as compliance with the relevant regulatory framework. To coordinate and implement these activities, the Unit acts as a liaison between the University and the socio-economic sector, providing administrative support for educational activities involving work placements and coordinating relations with the Degree Programme Committees, the Placement Coordinators and the University Placement Committee. It also supervises coordination with the relevant central departments, ensuring the systematic collection and sharing of requirements, updates and issues, with a view to establishing coherent and effective operational processes; it manages the entire lifecycle of internships, from initiation through monitoring to completion, providing administrative support to students and host organisations and ensuring compliance with current procedures. In this context, it also promotes the quality of the learning experience by monitoring programmes and assessing outcomes; furthermore, it works to promote and enhance the value of work placements by devising and organising information events and initiatives aimed at students, companies and stakeholders, thereby facilitating the matching of supply and demand and increasing participation and awareness of the opportunities available; in the context of work placements aimed at professional qualification, it collaborates with professional bodies as a competent point of contact capable of interpreting regulatory requirements and supporting their application in various contexts, ensuring consistency, fairness and uniformity of management; ensures compliance with relevant regional, national and international legislation, constantly monitoring updates, interpreting provisions and translating them into operational procedures, whilst offering advisory support to academic and administrative bodies; manages and develops the University’s digital platform dedicated to internships.
