Risk Assessment and Workplace Safety Supervision Division

Staff in this Division are in charge of assessing risks in the University's workplaces, ensure that emergency plans are prepared and updated, draft and update risk assessment templates (DVR). They are in charge of organising staff training courses on safety at workplace.

Safety Supervision Unit

The Unit is in charge of the emergency and evacuation plans for the University's campuses, organises the Emergency Teams and manages the related premises. It supports workplace design, event management, major emergency management protocols and interference risk assessment.

Workplace Risk Assessment and Management Unit

Staff in this Unit are in charge of the process of risk assessment and definition of prevention and protection measures: they draft specific documents and DVRs, as well as guidelines and operating procedures. The Unit carries out environmental measurement campaigns, workplace monitoring and supervises the health surveillance process.

Domain Expert Asbestos Exposure Risks

Domain Expert

She conducts a census on asbestos-containing artifacts within the University premises and workplaces. She assesses the specific risk and supports the drafting of the DVR- Risk assessment template. She defines appropriate prevention and protection measures. She drafts and manages the control and maintenance plan. She is in charge of informing and training workers. She conducts inspections at least annually and carries out all activities deemed appropriate in the field, also in coordination with the RSPP (Health and Safety Officer).

Domain Expert Laser Equipment Safety Measures

Domain Expert

She conducts a census on the Laser equipment in use at Politecnico di Torino. She conducts a specific risk assessment and supports the drafting of the DVR. She defines the appropriate prevention and protection measures and provides support to equipment users. She trains workers on the subject and drafts safety procedures and technical reports. She oversees the correct implementation of the Italian law in force and the Technical standards and in-house rules in liaison with the RSPP - Health and Safety Officer (RSPP) and those staff listed in the Safety Organization Chart of Politecnico.
