Building Heritage Conservation Division

Staff in this division are in charge of the conservation of the University's building heritage; with this regard, they ensure the usability of the buildings through the monitoring and management of their state of conservation. Staff in this division also guarantee that installations in these buildings work efficiently and correctly and supervise their retrofitting from a technical and legal point of view. They are also responsible of the compliance of administrative requirements aimed at the acquisition of the Fire Prevention Certificate (CPI) for the University's buildings.

She ensures that electrical and lifting systems work efficiently and correctly and supervise their retrofitting from a technical and legal point of view: with this purpose, She carries out breakdown corrective maintenance required by law and supporting both the Internal, architectural, structural and plant design Unit and the Construction site management Unit in the definition and implementation of the necessary maintenance works: in this regard She is responsible for the technical-economic assessments in relation to the annual scheduling of works. She supervises the state of preservation of the installations and, when required, submits related maintenance plans to the Executive.

Domain Expert

He manages and supervises complex automation and intelligent supervision systems aimed at the coordinated and integrated operation of technological systems for air conditioning/ventilation of rooms at the University buildings University. He coordinates the intervention of maintenance teams when anomalies or malfunctions are detected on those systems. He ensures the constant maintenance and updating of the systems. He ensures the interface with the CALOS Department in order to implement the University Decarbonization Plan.

Staff in this Unit are responsible of the compliance of administrative requirements aimed at the acquisition of the Fire Prevention Certificate (CPI) for the University's buildings.They are in charge of the periodic maintenance works of all fire-fighting systems and equipment which are required by law and support both the Internal, architectural, structural and plant design Unit and the Construction site management Unit in the definition and implementation of the necessary interventions aimed at improving fire prevention and fire safety requirements: in this regard they are responsible for the technical-economic assessments in relation to the annual scheduling of works. They support the Executive in managing the relations with the local Fire Department.
