Administration and Budget Division

Staff in this Division supervise administrative and accounting management of the Department, carrying out essential activities in support of the technical staff; in particular, they are in charge of the drafting of the “Three-Year Programme of Works for Building Construction” and other planning documents, of communications with other University departments/divisions/Units, with Ministries, and Verification Bodies, and is in charge of relations with companies and professionals. It develops the monitoring and reporting of expenses, drafts authoritative measures. The Division supervises the management of the University's spaces/premises, acquired or granted to third parties, public or private, within the framework of institutional, research and technology transfer agreements.

This Unit is in charge of the planning (Three-Year Programme of Works for Building Construction) and the execution of works, of the communications related to procurement (AGACON), Entities (Social Security, ASL, AVCP, Observatory) and Ministries (MIT and MEF). Staff in this Unit are responsible of transparency, anti-corruption, privacy protection and supervise subcontracting procedures, appointments, authoritative measures. They also manage staff attendance-absences, request for specialized training, e-mails, Department’s archives.

This Unit is responsible of the control of the Department's economic and financial resources. In particular, staff here help in drafting Polito financial forecast and with budgeting procedures. They are in charge of settling invoices and bills and monitor expenditures, as well. They are in charge of providing financial reports to Entities and Ministries, by collecting all the necessary documents to support the explicit costs and drafting the related documents. They are in charge of determining budget as well as of managing purchase requests for services and supplies.
