The staff in this Division provide technical and management support for the activities related to research and service infrastructures, with particular reference to testing and calibration laboratories. They are in charge of the promotion, coordination, implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality systems for departmental and other University laboratories in order to obtain or renew accreditation. Staff in this Division help provide departmental laboratory technicians on quality systems (ISO, UNI, etc) with the necessary information and training and coordinate the integration of the technical activities of decentralised centres with the activities of the University main campus.
Laboratories Quality Assurance Unit
The staff in this Unit is in charge of promoting and coordinating activities aimed at the promotion, implementation, maintenance and improvement of quality systems of central and departmental laboratories. They help provide departmental laboratory technicians on quality systems with the necessary information and training.
Technical Support to Laboratories and Infrastructures Unit
This Unit provides technical support for the direct management of both centrally managed laboratories and research and service infrastructures for the installation and operation of equipment.
