Student Careers and Right to Education Division (Bachelor’s and Master’s)

The Division ensures integrated and coordinated support throughout the entire academic journey of first- and second-level students (both national and international). From recruitment and pre-enrolment to graduation, the Division facilitates every phase of the university experience, providing assistance in teaching management, administrative procedures, and Registrar's Office services.Additionally, the Division coordinates and supports activities related to Honours Programmes and Student Teams, promoting active participation and the development of transversal skills. The Division collaborates with the INCAM Office for the development of international activities, with particular focus on international promotion and both incoming and outgoing mobility.

The staff in this Unit manage student careers, from enrolment to graduation. They deal with the admission applications to the Master's degree programmes, recognition and equivalence of foreign degrees, the updating of web pages and information boards, Bachelor and Master’s thesis projects in companies, initiatives aimed at the maturation and certification of cross-cutting and professional skills, and state examinations.

The Unit is responsible for promoting the University’s educational offering at both national and international levels for first- and second-level programs, as well as for incoming student orientation. Specifically, the Unit handles the following activities: promotion of the University’s academic programs in Italy and abroad, with support from the ARIA Department and the Communication, Identity, and Valorisation Hub; coordination with the INCAM Office for all activities related to international student attraction and relations with the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), and diplomatic missions abroad to support incoming orientation; development and management of orientation initiatives to provide in-depth information on the educational offering, its modes of delivery, and to raise awareness about first- and second-level study paths and related professional profiles; collaboration with the national school system to promote informed choices among students and ensure a successful transition into university; support in designing orientation-based teaching pathways; production of guides, updating web pages, student reception, and organization and participation in events.

The Unit is responsible for activities related to access procedures, including the pre-enrolment phase for students, and supervises processes related to the management of university fees and the Right to Education, with particular reference to the following activities: preparation and management of calls for admission to restricted-access degree programs; organization of the TIL (Test in Laib); Credential Evaluation at the University level for the assessment and validation of academic qualifications/access titles of candidates with foreign credentials at various entry levels; coordination of pre-enrolment procedures and processes for obtaining student visas for admitted candidates, in coordination with the LIFE Division; management of admission procedures for refugees, also in collaboration with the LIFE Division; management of student fees and implementation of the related regulations; support to Governance in relations with EDiSU and other universities concerning Right to Education policies; management of the student records archive and confidential records; support to the Student Ombudsman; oversight of the Disciplinary Committee's activities in collaboration with the Senior Domain Expert in Legal Affairs and External Relations; preparation and management of calls for scholarships, awards, and idea competitions funded by the University and external bodies, for students and graduates; management of the allocation process for training scholarships linked to research activities; management of ANS data submissions in coordination with the STARQ Office;management of State Exams in coordination with the Registrar's Office Unit.

The Unit supports the activities of the Aptitude-oriented Education School, in its role of helping to foster educational opportunities for students, with attention to individual aptitudes and in alignment with the University’s academic offering. The Unit specifically supports initiatives that enhance learning, experimental and project-based teaching, such as Student Teams and Honours Programmes.The Unit also supports the University Committee that provides input on financial contributions to student-led projects and student associations, in collaboration with the LIFE Division and the Admissions and Tuition Fees Unit.
