The Division supervises the promotion, planning and delivery of postgraduate professional training programmes with a focus on quality and particular attention to the needs of the world of work. It coordinates the design, approval, activation, promotion, delivery and management of 1st/2nd level Specializing Master's programme and continuing education programs offered by the School of Specializing Master's programme and Lifelong Learning, in close collaboration with other Departments's Offices for funding opportunities and relations with businesses. The Division coordinates strategic development activities in relation to the evolution of the School's educational offering and activities and supports the Director and the School's bodies in external relations and institutional activities.

She plans, manages and monitors the budget and prepares the budget forecast in coordination with the Senior Domain Expert in Planning, Monitoring and Audit Department and Domain Expert in Budget Department. She supervises the monitoring of accounting processes. She monitors the life cycle of projects by analysing data extracted from applications. She supports the monitoring of payments for teaching staff, student contributions and the purchasing cycle. She supervises the monitoring of project activities by supporting the preparation and collection of interim and final reports on activities and related documentation. She interacts with funding bodies. She handles the reporting phases. She prepares and manages audits by funding bodies on the projects supervised.

Specializing Master's Programme and Lifelong Learning Unit

The Unit coordinates and supports the full cycle of design, implementation, and management of university Master's programmes and continuing education initiatives, including those developed in collaboration with companies, funding bodies, and national or international universities. It carries out training needs analysis, project development, and funding research; manages collaboration agreements, administrative processes, and the monitoring of externally funded projects. It organizes course delivery, supports coordinators and teaching staff, oversees communication and information activities for prospective students, and manages student careers up to the awarding of the final qualification. The Unit works closely with other units and divisions within the Department to ensure educational quality, operational effectiveness, and the sustainability of all training initiatives.

In relation to the evolution of the educational offering and activities of the School of Specializing Master's programme and Lifelong Learning: He supports the strategic development of initiatives and learning paths in the Executive field, aimed at managers, entrepreneurs, managers, function managers and professionals - including senior ones - who aim to respond to needs for growth, transformation, professional repositioning and career acceleration in the workplace; He supports the expansion and consolidation of strategic alliances with specialised players and high-calibre business schools; He initiates and cultivates contacts and relationships with potential partners for Executive Training (e.g. companies, professional communities and associations, business schools, chambers of commerce, employers' associations, etc.), consolidating the existing network with the aim of generating new types of training initiatives; He fosters dialogue with companies by involving them in new ways of interacting with the Politecnico (e.g. setting up an Advisory Board, etc.), and He works with the Director of the School of Specializing Master's programme and Lifelong Learnin to explore the possibility of extending these initiatives to other areas.

She supports teaching staff in designing complex training activities, starting in particular from the analysis of the needs expressed by companies and institutions and translating these needs into content and approaches. In this context: She analyses best practices in innovative teaching and how these can be used to meet the complex needs of businesses and knowledge workers in order to understand the needs of external actors and to interface effectively with teaching staff and scientific coordinators of initiatives; She supports teaching staff, including in an operational guidance role, in participating in the drafting of customised offers, proposals for tenders and other competitive initiatives; She supports the budgeting phase in its negotiation phase, in collaboration with the Domain Expert in School of Specializing Master's Programmes and Lifelong Learning Management; She collaborates with the Teaching and Language Lab and the Multimedia Hub to understand and absorb innovations in teaching.
